New 2010 Courses!

This year at K1 Yarns we are very excited to be offering an even wider array of one-off classes and courses for knitting, crochet and now SEWING!!

Sundays continue to be our day for Beginner knitters and crocheters! Our highly popular beginner courses are continuing this winter and spring with new projects to be announced soon! These beginner classes run over two Sundays (of your choice) and include all of the materials. No experience necessary!

New this year, we are excited to announce our first ever Learn to Sew course! This course, beginning in February, will be taught by Kristen Orme who is an accomplished designer and sewing expert! She will take you through the basics of how to sew using your own sewing machine and you will cut, construct and finish a sewing project during the course! Essential for everyone with a sewing machine at home collecting dust! The course includes 4 classes, but you may choose the dates from a selection available.

If you already have the basics of sewing or crochet but just can't seem to move on beyond beginner projects then Thursday nights are for you at K1 Yarns. From 5-6 pm we operate our popular KNITTING SURGERY! For £2 you will recieve a pot of tea and an hour of advice or  help on any project that you are currently struggling with. Just bring it along and we will help you to get back on track.

Our Beyond Beginner Knitting and Crochet class runs every Thursday from 6-8 pm. These one-off classes include all of the materials and will get you started on an exciting new project using techniques that you have never used before.
