Beginners Crochet Courses

Learn to Crochet this autumn! This course is for absolute beginners and you will learn, over 2 classes, to make these adorable winter hand-warmers! All of the materials are included and they are made from our warm and beautiful Orkney Angora wool, a best seller!

The course includes 2 Sunday afternoon classes, from 12:00 to 13:30, from any of the available dates below. We supply all of the materials!

Beginner's Knitting Courses

Join us at K1 Yarns on Sunday afternoons from 14:00-15:30  this autumn for our learn to knit courses! This autumn our project is hats and this one is a great design for yourself or a friend, made in lovely chunky soft Artesano Aran Alpaca yarn!

The course runs over 2 Sundays, and you may choose any 2 Sundays from the dates available below.

The course cost is £29.99 and includes the two classes, your wool and 2 sets of needles! This course is suitable for absolute beginners, you don't need to know anything about knitting to take this course!

Beyond Beginners Knitting

If you can cast on, cast off, knit and purl, but have trouble moving beyond simple projects or are just keen to try something new then our Beyond Beginners Courses are just for you!

This autumn Vala has designed these Fair Isle hats to introduce basic Fair Isle knitting techniques. All you have to know is the basic knit and purl stitches to take this course, no other expertise is required!

The course will be held over 2 Thursday evenings, but you may choose any from those listed below. As will all of our courses, the materials are included, including 2 sets of needles and our best-selling Artesano Aran Alpaca yarn (there will be enough yarn provided  to make a second hat!).
